Anuga Trade Fair 2017, Cologne 7-11 October

Within the framework of networking actions aimed at the extroversion of local businesses, the participation of the exports office of the Development Company of the Chamber of Achaia – Achaiavalues – was successfully completed at this year’s Anuga International Exhibition that was held in Cologne, Germany, on 7-11 October.

Anuga, which takes place every 2 years, is the largest international exhibition of food and beverages that attracts about 160.000 visitors.

Achaiavalues was one of the 260 Greek companies that participated at this year’s event.


The aesthetic and functional booth of Achaiavalues was visited by buyers and potential future associates of the Achaiavalues companies, from 21 countries, namely: China, Australia, Germany, India, Algeria, Poland, Israel, Spain, Iraq, Iran, The Netherlands, Cyprus, Belgium, Puerto Rico, Malta, Lebanon, Albania, UK, Scotland, Taiwan and Sweden, who had the opportunity to taste our local products such as wine, honey, spirits, spices, praline, jams, dried fruits, spoon sweets, etc., for which they showed particular interest. The Achaiavalues office through the follow-up procedure, will try to translate their interest into sales for the benefit of the local businesses. The Achaiavalues booth was visited, amongst others, by the President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Athens Mr. Michalos, the President of the Enterprise Greece Mr. Staikos, the President of the Chamber of Commerce of Achaia Mr. Marlafekas, as well as the member of the Board of Directors of the Chamber of Commerce of Achaia, Mr. Pilavas.

In addition, our booth attracted the interest of a journalist from Naftemporiki newspaper, who in a relative tribute to the Anuga event, makes reference to the Achaiavalues as a good extroversion practice, through an interview with the Export Manager of the Achaiavalues, Mr. Dimitris Papadimitriou (followed by the link).
